Fe Florimón

FE FLORIMÓN

Fe Florimón is the Founder and President of CSFHC. She is a bilingual educator and community leader known for her commitment to building relationships and caring approach toward families, youths and communities.

Fe Florimón is the Founder and President of CSFHC. She is a bilingual educator and community leader known for her commitment to building relationships and caring approach toward families, youths and communities.


Fe has a broad combined experience in both public and private sectors. Before joining the public sector, she worked for almost two decades in the private sector. Parts of her work experience include the travel industry, and business administration (Corporate Travel and Group Consultant, and Small Business Administration). In the public sector, Fe’s worked for several community-based organizations in the capacity of bilingual educator and program administrator. In both sectors, she had the opportunity to work with individuals and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She has also worked with the New York State Correctional Facility System, NYC Department of Education, John Jay College, and collaborated with other government agencies like NYC Administration for Children’s Services.


In the public sector, Fe has earned an extensive and outstanding volunteer record of commitments. As an ardent advocate of education and civic engagement, she has served in several leadership positions. She was appointed twice to the Community Education Council of School District 6 (CEC 6) by the Manhattan Borough Presidents Scott Stringer and Gale A. Brewer. During her appointment, she served as President of the Council and Chair of the Public Relations Committee. For over a decade, Fe has served as the Chair of the Youth and Education Committee of Community Board 12M (CB12M). She also served at the United Nations helping organize fundraising events and supervised their information Kiosk’s activities and tourists’ inquiries.


Fe encourages and supports young people to succeed. She promotes higher education and provides opportunities for young people to exercise and develop leadership skills through public speaking events, develops venues where they can showcase their talents, and publicly acknowledges their accomplishments at community events. She also served as a student mentor at The City College of New York. For several years, Fe was a member of the Isabella Foundation and Edward J. McFadden Scholarship Committee helping many underserved students receive scholarships. She also facilitated and organized to promote intergenerational relationships. Her work and leadership commitment is recognized by the NYC Chancellor of Education, Barack Obama Democratic Club, George Washington Educational Campus, NYPD 33 rd Pct., and Public Officials, for the many contributions she has made to support and improve the lives of families, youth, elders, and school communities.


Fe holds a Master’s of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The City College of New York.

Eleazar Bueno serves as the Treasure for CSFHC. He brings to the organization over two decades of experience in business operations management and marketing.

Eleazar Bueno serves as the Treasure for CSFHC. He brings to the organization over two decades of  experience in business operations management and marketing.

​

Bueno also brings a wealth of experience to the work of public advocacy and community events management. This includes the ability to create and utilize business experience to achieve excellent community relations and policy goals, as well as, understanding the role media plays in community relations and outcomes.  

​

As a JPD Foundation board member for the past 10 years, Eleazar is a dedicated and committed  member of the Dominican diaspora in New York City. With his business expertise, he is responsible for the coordination of various Dominican centered events that include Festival producer for 809 Restaurant, Telemicro TV and the JPD Foundation for the past 10 years. 

​

In 2017 he joined the Empanadas Monumental model and has successfully increased from four stores to eight. This model was featured in the Daily News due to its innovative menu which stays true to the flavors and dishes of the homeland.

​

Eleazar received an Undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

JONATHAN FROMETA

Jonathan Frometa serves as the secretary for CSFHC. He brings to the organization an extensive background and expertise in the field of technology.

Jonathan Frometa, serves as the Secretary for CSFHC. He brings to the organization an extensive background and expertise in the field of technology.

Jonathan has more than 15 years of experience in the area of analysis, design and development of commercial systems for both, the web and Windows. He started his career in technology as a Professor of Information Technology. He worked at the international universities of, Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago (UTESA), and Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), both situated in the Dominican Republic. He has also worked on large technology projects for the public and private sectors including private financial institutions, and health and education providers respectively.

​

Jonathan is currently a Computer Systems Manager for the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications (DoITT) assigned to the New York City Mayor's Office of Operations. He also works as an Independent IT specialist. 

​

Jonathan is an advocate of education, and an active member at the local city agency Community Board12 Manhattan where he chairs the Information Technology Committee.

​

 Jonathan graduated with a dual Master of Business Administration and Systems Engineering degree.

Nadia Ramirez serves as an assistant Secretary for CSFHC.

Nadia is a true passionate New Yorker. She exemplifies the energy and passion produced when early on the importance to serve the community is fully understood. 

​

Nadia is known for willingness to press forward.  Serving her community for over 30 years by tutoring ESL, teaching Financial literacy to high school students via various non for profit organizations and by  organizing youth event such as feeding the homeless, camping, basketball tournaments to middle and high Schools students she could not pass up  the opportunity to join CSFHC.  

​

To the CSFHC team, Nadia brings over 20 years of business management experience which she has obtained primarily as a financial controller for publicly traded financial institutions as well as working with the top five accounting firms in the US.

BLANCA BATTINO

Blanca Battino is the Vice President of CSFHC. She has been an educator for the NYC Department of education for 47 years as a teacher, staff developer, District supervisor, Assistant Principal, Principal and Response to Intervention Specialist.

Blanca Battino is the Vice President of CSFHC. She has been an educator for the NYC Department of education for 47 years as a teacher, staff developer, District supervisor, Assistant Principal, Principal and Response to Intervention Specialist. 

 

She has particular expertise in forging community partnerships to provide resources and services to poor communities. She continues to be actively involved in the schools and community of Upper Manhattan, and works with EIEN providing professional development for organizations such as SoBro. Ms. Battino earned an MA in Administration and Supervision from CUNY, an MA in Bilingual education from NYU, and a BA in Elementary Education from Hunter College. 

 

She has been an Advisory Committee Board Member for over 14 years to the TURN 2US Foundation, a mental health literacy program in collaboration with Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, PS 128M, and the Dereck Jeter TURN 2 Foundation.

 

For her dedicated service in education, community partnerships and parent engagement, she has been a recipient of The CITY Council Citation (2019), City Comptroller Commendation Award ( 2019)  and the Council of the City of New York Proclamation among others.
