CSFHC visits the UN

CSFHC community members visited the United Nations Headquarters in Manhattan, NYC.

In the summer of 2017, the United Nations celebrated the International Youth Day. The theme chosen for this year was “Youth Building peace.”  In concert with the Youth and Police

Building Bridges’ mission, the Youth and Education Committee (Y&EC) and Community

Services with Faith, Hope and Charity (CSFHC) invited a group of students from several high

schools and law enforcement officers from the NYPD Community Affairs Division, 33rd and

34th Precincts to participate as symbolic gesture of unity and the need for building healthy

relationships. Their presence at the UN was well accepted and highly admired by local groups and the international community.
